Purchases of auction items are subject to the acceptance of the General Conditions of Sale, available at Art-Rite headquarters, online or in the auction catalogues.

Pre-sale exhibitions and condition reports

Previous to the auction, lots will be exhibited publicly, to be viewed and examined to verify their actual state of conservation. Opening hours are shown on our website and in the catalogues.
Those who are not able to examine the works directly can request a condition report of the lot they are interested in.
Please, bear in mind that any condition report and any statement made by us is Art-Rite’s own opinion and not to be relied on as a statement of fact.

How to take part in auctions

It is possibile to bid in person, by phone, place an absentee bid or through our online platform. All new bidders are required to create an account and submit full contact details along with a photo of a government issued ID as well as to accept the terms and conditions of sale.

Absentee bids

Those unable to attend an auction, may simply place an absentee bid and we will bid on their behalf up to the maximum set bid.
Please, find the Absentee Bid Form directly at Art-Rite’s office, in our catalogues or download it.
A completed Absentee Bid Form should be returned to Art-Rite’s offices by fax, email or WhatsApp.

Auction registration

Auction participation will only be granted to those with a provided bidding paddle, assigned after filling and signing the registration form. 
Registering for a bidding paddle implies providing personal data and accepting the terms and conditions of sale.

Telephone bids

Telephone bids can be requested before the auction. Art-Rite representatives will contact potential clients before the interested lots go on sale and will bid according to their instructions. Please, note that all phone calls could be recorded if required.
 

Online bids

In order to bid online, registration must be completed at least 24 hours before the auction begins. Registered bidders can follow the sale and place bids along with participants in the room as the platform is updated in real time. Please, note that online bids are to be considered final and may not, under any circumstance, be revoked or cancelled.

Transportation and export operations

Art-Rite S.r.l. assists costumers in transportation and export operations of the lots.
